For Parents

There are several options for parents when they attend our Outdoor Adventure program. We want your time here to be as relaxing as possible, so we have set some designated areas for you to enjoy your time here doing whatever suits you best.

We will have a meeting room filled with Board Games and magazines in which you can sit and enjoy peace and quiet, or enjoy fellowship with other parents.

Another option for you is our Coffee Shop, which was recently opened. It was created, with you in mind, to be a place where you can gather together and enjoy specialty coffee, snacks, and friendly service. It will be open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on the first day, and from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on the closing day. We hope that this will be the perfect place for you to relax while your students enjoy their activities.

As always, you are more than welcome to be included in the activities that your students will be participating in. There will be hikes to go on and history presentations for you to enjoy. It will always be your choice as to how you spend your two days with us here at Skycroft.

Staying Overnight:

Our policy here at Skycroft is that parents stay overnight with their children. Unfortunately we dot not have enough counselors to stay overnight with all of the children, and while we will be planning and executing all of the daytime events, we do not have the capacity to chaperone the children throughout the night.
